Saban to be profiled on ESPN preview

  New LSU football coach Nick Saban will be profiled on ESPN's College Football Preview to be aired at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22.
ESPN reporter Brian Liburd was in Baton Rouge Aug. 10-12 to interview Saban, former coach Gerry DiNardo and players Louis Williams and Fred Booker. Liburd was unable to get DiNardo, who recently took a coaching job with Birmingham of the XFL.
  "Coach Saban was very excited about it," LSU sports information director Mike Bonnette said. "He was glad ESPN decided to showcase LSU and give him the opportunity to discuss his program on a national scale."Miami, among other schools, will be highlighted.
  Saban discusses his often misunderstood personality and how LSU's needs to change its recruiting style of the past in order to get more players on the field. And Booker refers to Saban as his "best friend," Liburd said The preview will be followed at 7 p.m. by a college football roundtable.
